Commands of Christ

A study walking through the commands Jesus gave His followers and what it means to obey them today.

Part 1

Matthew 3:15

The first command of Christ comes at His baptism: "Permit it at this time." God doesn't need you to be worthy, only willing.

Part 2

Matthew 4:17

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Repentance isn't an apology or guilt; it's letting God transform who you are.

Part 3

Matthew 4:19

"Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people." The first disciples followed without a Bible; what it means to follow Christ and to share Him.

Part 4

Matthew 5:16

"Let your light shine before men." Christianity is an active faith: do good works in the open, but for God's glory, never your own.
